Anthony Corcoran
Like his father and grandfather before him, he sees the practice of Law as being one where the care of clients is paramount. Anthony founded Your Legal with a focus on client care and service and ensuring that he and his team collaborate in the property transaction with the other service providers involved such as your Real Estate Agent, banker\mortgage adviser and building inspector. By working collaboratively Anthony believes he can take what can be an overwhelming process and make it an enjoyable and rewarding experience for clients.
As a third generation Lawyer (and also having two sisters who are Lawyers) Anthony doesn’t take himself too seriously and enjoys a life outside of Law that involves skiing, rugby, golf and raising his family with his wife Annita who is also a qualified Legal Executive.
Donna is a very experienced Lawyer and has set up and run her own practices in Christchurch prior to joining Anthony as a Director. Donna has particular expertise in property matters and has spent the years since the Christchurch earthquakes working for the Community Trust assisting earthquake claimants with Earthquake related issues which she continues to do along her role at Your Legal.
With well over 36 years of professional experience, Duncan provides advice on a wide range of legal areas including all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions, subdivisions, commercial leasing, succession and estate planning, family trusts and estate administration. Duncan has a particular expertise in all aspects of the New Zealand Immigration visa system from the employer perspective seeking to employ migrant workers to the migrant worker applications. Duncan has been a member of the New Zealand Law Society Property Law section for many years. Duncan is now a Director at Your Legal after many years working in other medium-size law firms in the Canterbury Region.
Lois is a Registered Legal Executive with many years of experience in property law. A proud Fellow of the NZ Institute of Legal Executives and an Associate of the firm, Lois brings trusted expertise to every transaction. Known for her warm, personable approach and calm, reassuring manner, she quickly puts clients at ease - helping make the legal process feel smooth and stress-free. Robin is a Senior Registered Legal Executive specialising in residential property transactions. Robin is dedicated to guiding clients — especially first-home buyers —through every step of the process with clarity, care, and a friendly approach. Robin has worked in leading law firms in Queenstown and relocated to Christchurch in 2024, bringing with her a strong focus on client experience and practical, down-to-earth advice. Outside the office, you’ll usually find Robin biking or hiking around Canterbury with family and friends.
